About Me

​

     Destini Huston was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she attended solely art-based schools. Developing a passion for performing at a young age, Destini practiced dance (modern, jazz, ballet, hip hop), and moved on to memorizing plays, rather than Seinfeld reruns. 

 

    Since graduating with her BA (Film/ TV Writing focus with an additional concentration in Theatre) from Columbia College Chicago, Destini has had the pleasure to work on Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, The Onion, along with a collection of commercials and web series. Some of her recent theatre credits include Most recent Chicago credits include The Play That Goes Wrong (Broadway Playhouse), Ohio State Murders (Goodman Theatre), Cardboard Piano (TimeLine Theatre), Linda (Steep Theatre), ID: Images of Diversity (Steep & Chicago Sinfonietta), Breath Boom (Eclipse Theatre).

 

    Outside of “the biz”, Destini can be found organizing photoshoots for fun, teaching Zumba, and snacking.
